Marston Audio research - Silhouette DAC

There is not much information about the DAC so you just have to take my word for it I am afraid, The  DAC came to us as a part exchange and I kept it and used it in my second  system for the last 6 years. The reason I kept it for this long is because  the sound of this DAC reminds me a lot of Marantz CD7 which was one of  my top ten digital playback machines of all time.  The sound is very  musical and has a sweet top end.  I love rock  music and this DAC has a very good mid-bass slam (snare drum sounded  great!) You can add a better power supply to improve the performance but  I have never tried.   For only £350 What else can you buy that sounds like this?
